Inktober is a month-long art challenge created by artist Jake Parker, encouraging artists around the world to draw daily illustrations throughout October based on daily prompts.

For this year’s Inktober, I set myself the challenge of creating a unique character every day inspired by each prompt. From detectives and wanderers to sun-powered gods and pen-wielding statues, each character was designed to reflect the essence of the word and bring it to life in a new way.
